Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.


Job Purpose:

Coordinate the planning, preparation, and delivery of a holistic coach development programme and assessment framework that supports all domestic coaching staff to ensure world class coaching delivery on and off the pitch aligned to all relevant Club policies, operating procedures, and coaching philosophies.

Key Responsibilities



Coaching:

Observe and support the mentoring of coaching teams assigned to domestic programmes I.E. player development programmes (evenings, holidays and premier days), Next Generation, Private Schools, and College Programmes, creating and developing appropriate feedback and reporting processes.
Lead on all domestic quality assurance visits, including the development of an evidence-based mentoring programme providing feedback and development objectives to targeted staff working on domestic programmes.
Develop a structured football programme delivery framework specifically targeted at school and youth club environments aligned with the Global Football Development coaching syllabus, coaching cycle, and development philosophy.
Meet with staff working on domestic programmes to provide one-to-one support and feedback to support their development within the GFD Coaching Pathway.
Support the development and integration of casual coaches and the coaching excellence coaches into the domestic programmes to progress within the GFD coaching pathway.
Alongside the Player & Coach Development Manager, plan and prepare appropriate technical coaching content for all domestic programmes and events.
Work closely with the Player & Coach Development Manager to identify talented footballers and report via the Club talent identification process, ensuring a tracking and monitoring system is in place.
Observe coaching performance and provide effective feedback via PDR’s. Actively identify, mentor, and develop coaching staff within your team.
Deliver coach education programmes and presentations as required.

Adhere to the Global Football Development Coaching Code of Conduct.
Promote, adhere to, and implement the Club’s Equality & Diversity Policy.
Attend all Global Football Development in-service training events as required.
Act as Head Coach (or support) International Group Days, Half Term and/or other Global Football Development programmes as required.
Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be expected.

Skills And Experience

Essential:

Minimum UEFA B License (or working towards)
Level 2 FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) Qualification
FA Safeguarding Children Qualification


Desired:

UEFA A License
FA Youth Award
FA Advanced Youth Award (or working towards)
FA Talent ID Level 2
Experience of working within a school and/or college environment
