The Premier League is responsible for the delivery of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP), a long-term strategic plan for the development of Academy System with the goals of; 1) more and better Home Grown Players capable of playing at the highest level; and 2) positive development outcomes for all Academy Players, regardless of whether they become professionals or not.
To support the continued success of the EPPP, we are looking to recruit a Games Programme Manager (FP/YDP) who will be responsible for the management of the logistics and operations required for the effective delivery of the Premier League’s Festivals and Tournaments across the Foundation Phase (FP) (U9-U11) and Youth Development Phase (YDP) (U12-U16).
The work that you will undertake will be quite varied, and will include the following:
Lead, manage and support the effective organisation and delivery of FP, YDP Regional, National and International Games Programme events.
Provide administrative support to ensure the effective organisation and delivery of FP, YDP, Regional, National and International residential Games Programme events.
Ensure venue and event risk assessments are completed prior to events, producing comprehensive risk assessment documentation.
Produce pre-event documentation; information packs for Club (stakeholder) use.
Provide budgetary control for events within the Foundation and Youth Development Phase Games Programme.
Lead and assist in facilitating Club administrator meetings when required.
Support in the facilitation of all FP & YDP Games Programme Club meetings.
Work with Club and Premier League multidisciplinary staff to ensure the Games Programme meets the needs of the players from a technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and social/educational perspective at all age groups across the Foundation Phase, Youth Development Phase and the Professional Development Phase.
Work collaboratively with the Safeguarding team to ensure all Games Programme activities provide safe and inclusive environments for all participants.
To contribute to the construction of Games Programme season schedules, fixture production and disseminating literature to Clubs when required.
On occasion, undertake other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Premier League Youth Development Department.

Track record of working with event management, preferably in a sporting context
High proficiency in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint and Excel)
