TITLE: Gameday Operations Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Facility Operations REPORTS TO: Sr. Competition Manager FLSA: Salaried; Non-Exempt WHAT SETS YOU APART You are a sports event professional with knowledge of sports competition and the ability to build relationships and resolve complex problems. You will provide overall administrative planning, direction, and policies to gameday staff, assuring the highest quality service for soccer games and events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Act as the Event Lead for all aspects of gameday operations for NWSL · Create and coordinate all gameday productions packets and meetings with internal departments for NWSL · Act as Field Manager for all match presentation activity related to MLS games, including but not limited to coordinating rehearsals, pregame ceremonies, pregame experiences, and post-game experiences in the field area. · Assist with MLS NEXT Pro gameday operations as needed · Address all team, referee, and player requests professionally and in a timely manner. · Always maintain the integrity of the field and ensures that teams, officials, staff, and presentation elements are all in place at the required times · Report substitutions, goals, and other relevant information to the production booth to inform the PA announcer · Lead the field set-up/tear-down of all MLS and NWSL games at Exploria Stadium, including but not limited to goals, corner flags, field boards and team bench areas · Manage and maintain the inventory of all locker room assets and supplies as required by league operations manuals. · Source, monitor and direct the interns, gameday team members and other ancillary gameday staff in conjunction with Sr. Competition Manager and Gameday Operations Manager. · Responsible for scheduling of all gameday team members including interns and gameday specialists. · Stay current on league guidelines and ensure all games are operating in compliance with MLS or NWSL policies. · Confer with other officials, coaches, players, and facility managers to provide information, coordinate activities, and discuss problems. · Inspect game sites for compliance with regulations or safety requirements. · Address all noncompliance issues in a timely manner and create a plan of action for correcting items as needed. · Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 1-2 years of professional soccer/match operations experience preferred. · Demonstrated knowledge of match operations, presentation, customer service practices and event services. · Must have excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, problem solving, written and oral communication skills. · Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at one time. · Able to work independently and with limited supervision. · Possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. · Able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
