Role description

We govern the beautiful game and ensure it's run with transparency and integrity.We are now looking for aFWWC 2023 Project Group Leader Servicesthat is part ofFIFAand supports us on our mission.These are your key tasks:


Working with the Local FIFA Subsidiary (based in Australia and New Zealand) services departments
Preparing integrated services requirements to be implemented at all venues (stadium and non-stadium) in order to deliver services
Managing the guest service levels and quantity structures related to all key client groups participating in the FWWC 2023
Ensuring the development and delivery of a guest experience concept, as well as an integrated concept of service operations
Developing client journeys and aligning services accordingly together with the FWWC Project team
Collating, refining, and managing the service requirements and communicating/negotiating these with all stakeholders
Defining, refining and monitoring schedules related to the preparation and provisioning of key services in line with the FWWC project plan
Identifying risks and issues associated with the delivery of event services at the FWWC and mitigating the risks accordingly


Communicating key milestones and decisions related to event services to all relevant stakeholders, within FIFA and the Local FIFA Subsidiary

A degree from a recognised university
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
MBA from a recognized university
Experience in managing the overall delivery of event services aspects of elite-level sporting tournaments at the level of a FIFA Women's World Cup or similarly sized event
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the delivery of major events
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
Strong and persuasive communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Solution-minded attitude
This post will require some travel to Australia and New Zealand (mainly at tournament-time)
