JOB TITLE: Fundraising Events ExecutiveDEPARTMENT: Wolves FoundationREPORTS TO: Business Development ManagerDIRECT REPORTS: NoneLOCATION: Molineux Stadium and working across the City of WolverhamptonHOURS PER WEEK: 37.5 hours per weekWORKING ARRANGEMENT: Your working pattern will predominately be core office hours which are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, however, flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be necessary and directed by your line manager.DATE: August 2023
Wolves Foundation is a cornerstone of the city of Wolverhampton. Through a team of highly skilled, dedicated staff and volunteers it harnesses the strong local connection with Wolves to motivate, educate and inspire tens of thousands of beneficiaries of its work across the city.
The charity works in partnership with key local stakeholders including the local authority, police, health service and education providers to identify risk factors in the city around societal issues and health status; using data and insight to deliver evidence-based practice through its vast array of projects that address these needs through its key three objectives.

Working in the community is vital to its work and removing barriers to engagement regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. With participants ranging from 1 month to 100 years old across 225 different delivery sites in the city, work is delivered all year round improving the physical and mental health, personal development and life choices of the people engaged in its work.
All employees must uphold the key values and ethos of the Foundation to ensure delivery excellence. Employees must maintain professionalism and contractual, delivery and policy requirements.
Job purposeTo support the Business Development Manager, develop unrestricted revenue across all fundraising activities, events, and administrative functions/records. This would include account management of all Patrons, Partners and associated funders whilst enhancing the business development strategy of the fundraising products and events.
Key responsibilities- To lead on accurate and effective reporting for all fundraising income generation including revenue analysis using the internal recording processes with the support of the Business- Development Manager and Senior Manager – Finance.- Work with Business Development Manager to identify future fundraising opportunities that support the Foundations objectives in line with organisational development plans.- To support the Business Development Manager and Fundraising team with positive delivery of all events and activations.- To exercise robust cost-effective analysis when completing purchase orders for products and external services.- To work in cohesion with the Communications Team to develop promotional and marketing materials for all Fundraising events and activations to ensure maximum outreach over social media platforms and other relevant mediums.- To work with the Communications department to provide regular and effective communication to all Ambassadors, Patrons, Partners, associated funders, Trustee, employees and other relevant Stakeholders on all Fundraising events and Foundation activations.- To enhance donation opportunities for Wolves Foundation.- To work effectively with the Foundation Operations team in event facilitation and delivery taking into account staffing requirements, risk assessments, Health Safety and other operational requirements to ensure safe and effective event delivery.- To work with the Foundation Designated Safeguarding Lead, to ensure robust safeguarding policies and processes are maintained prior to and during at all events including safeguarding staffing, analysis, risk assessments and management of Fundraising events/activations.- Meet with the Business Development Manager on a regular basis to provide updates on all Fundraising events and activations.- Contribute to the development, implementation, and progress of the Fundraising Strategy.- Work creatively with the Business Development Manager to develop future fundraising events, techniques and opportunities.- To support the Business Development Manager and Foundation achieve all Fundraising targets and objectives.- To develop positive working relationships with all Ambassadors, Patrons, Partners, associated funders, Trustee, employees and other relevant Stakeholders.- Promote the Foundation values and mission statement in all Fundraising relevant aspects.- Support the maintenance of the Foundation website, ensuring it contains high quality content that accurately reflects opportunities available for the Community and upcoming event promotion.- Where applicable and directed by your line manager, support with the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and pre-employment process for the Fundraising department (including staff, casuals, volunteers, etc.) ensuring that Safer Recruitment processes are maintained.- Manage and lead on the Foundation Birthday Party services, including but not limited to, revenue growth, organising staffing and assisting payroll submissions.- To support within the supervision of Fundraising volunteers ensuring a high standard in all areas of the Foundation Fundraising projects.- To take responsibility and support the development and output of the Foundation Fundraising events, ensuring that all aspects are being delivered to the highest quality.- To be knowledgeable in potential opportunities to develop activities and strategic enhancement of the Fundraising department.- To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of participants, volunteers, and workforce (including self) is always prioritised.- To support the development of agreed annual Fundraising financial, operational, and strategic objectives for the Foundation.- To positively represent the Foundation within a range of internal and external meetings.- To promote Foundation associated projects and structure to key stakeholders and participants.- Commitment to social action projects that benefit the Foundation.- Represent the Fundraising department and contribute within Officers Operational Meetings.- Perform other duties as required and directed by your line manager which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the Foundation.- Ensure a positive commitment towards equality and diversity by treating others fairly and not committing any form of direct or indirect discrimination, victimisation or harassment of any description and to promote positive working relations amongst employees and customers.
Safeguarding responsibilities- To work alongside the DSL and Business Development Manager to ensure safeguarding standards are met and maintained.- Keep own CPD, knowledge and skills up to date in relation to our area of delivery and management.- Responsible for structuring adequate quality assurance for their department.
This role involves working with children and/or adults at risk in a Regulated Activity (or in close proximity to children and/or adults at risk). This means that the post-holder is required to apply all relevant policies and uphold the Club commitment to safeguarding children and adults at risk.

Contractual InformationDue to the nature of your role, there will be an occasional requirement to work evenings and/or weekends which will be directed by your line manager.
