ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-time junior manager for a temporary employment relationship.
Union Plaani is Heinola's largest junior sports club, moving more than 300 children every week. Our club has 12 teams for juniors and three teams for adults. The club's men's representative team plays three.
The club's values are community spirit, individuality, competitiveness and goal orientation. In order to respond to the club's growth and coaching activities in line with our values, we are looking for a junior manager for our club for a fixed-term employment relationship.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join us in the role of junior manager. In this position, you are responsible for the planning, coordination and development of junior activities. We expect the applicant to have strong football and coaching experience as well as the ability to lead and inspire young players.
Your duties include:
Responsible for coaching the club's U10-U18 junior teams and supporting the coaches
Planning and developing the club's training together with the executive director
Guiding groups of the Finnish model of hobby
Organization, planning and execution of club events.
Recruitment and training of coaches
We expect from you:
Football and coaching experience.
Excellent communication and interaction skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Experience working with junior players.
Good Finnish language skills
Good IT skills
In favor We look at:
Coach's license (e.g. UEFA B or equivalent).
Experience in community work and organization management.
Experience in developing and training coaching programs.
Education in the field of sports.

The work starts on June 3, 2024 or according to the agreement. Working hours are focused on weekday evenings and weekends. The society does not have its own offices, so the written work will be done remotely. At work, you need your own car and a B driver's license.
The work assignment is initially temporary for one year (project). The goal is to stabilize the employment relationship after the fixed term. There is a 6-month trial period for the position. The applicant for the position must present the criminal record extract referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on investigating the criminal background of those working with children 504/2002).
Interviews will take place in week 19-20.
