Positions that involve working with such groups are subject to safer recruitment protocols, including DBS Disclosure at enhanced level.Job summary This role will have responsibility for improving participation and performance within football, alongside enhancing participation and provision across the academy within enrichment before, during and after school in other sports. The role will also work closely with West Ham United Foundation’s Development Manager and Bobby Moore Academy’s Head of PE to ensure all enrichment opportunities are promoted, delivered, reported, and organised to a high standard throughout Bobby Moore Academy, with a focus on developing Football. Based on the Olympic Park, Bobby Moore Academy has access to a range of facilities including a 3G pitch, athletics track, fitness suite and sports hall. We work closely with West Ham Utd to offer an exceptional football, and enrichment offer. Education/Qualifications/Experience: • Level 2 Sports Football qualification (E) • Contacts, passion and experience within Football and of the Football landscape which could be drawn on to benefit Bobby Moore Academy (E) • Passion for sport and experience in coaching, development, organisation or delivery of sport (E) • Ability to plan, organise and deliver successful programmes, events and initiatives (E) • UEFA B License or working towards (D) • Additional NGB coaching qualifications (D) • A recognised fitness qualification (D) • Evidence of a graduate with a good level degree combined with a sporting background (D) • Experience of working with young people in different settings e.g. Sixth form colleges, sports clubs and wider community settings (D) • Safeguarding and first aid qualification (D)
