About the job
With 2,200 members, you get to work in one of the largest football associations in Sweden. We have 1800 girl and boy players from 5 years to senior who are divided into over 80 training groups led by 450 leaders.
ABOUT SPANGAN FOOTBALL
Spånga Football offers football joy, community and development in a quality activity throughout the football journey from boy to senior. We want to inspire a lifelong love for football and the association so that children, young people and adults can decide for themselves what ambitions they have and what role football should play in their lives. Our senior activity should be a nursery for own players from the local area that creates a competitive senior activity and where the players are given the opportunity to climb further in national football.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Together with the colleagues at the football office, you are the support for football operations.
In your role, you will focus on the training groups in the 3v3 and 5v5 game formats. You work with:
Team support, you are the contact person for the approx. 30 management teams in your game forms, where you serve the management teams in their football everyday with the needs and questions they have about football activities.
Leadership development you are the coaches' coach where you work to recruit leaders, plan and implement internal training for coaches in theory and practice, follow up training and matches and coach the leadership teams to conduct football operations in line with our player training plan.
Player development you take care of all questions regarding players who start and end in the training groups, create cooperation between training groups to best meet the players' needs, follow up the football activities in the training groups so that it follows the Spånga model and are responsible for the football school which is the association's most important recruitment effort.
ABOUT YOU
You are a person who enjoys solving challenges, doing the work independently and you like the mix of administration and practical work in football operations. You thrive in a small work group where you work closely together to support and develop the business and achieve the association's goals. Supporting and leading other people and contributing with efforts that make them grow is something you are passionate about.
To be able to coach and develop our leaders, you yourself need to have experience as a football coach and understand what it means to work with long-term player education. It is an asset if you have worked in an association with leadership development, player development and team support before, but not a requirement.
You have some form of sports education such as sports organization leadership, sports teacher training, sports teacher training, sports management or the like. In addition to that, we would like you to have completed the Swedish Football Association's coaching training C. You are also a person who constantly continues to learn and enjoys building on new skills.
It is an extra plus if you are a woman, as we think it is important that our office consists of both women and men
ABOUT THE SERVICE
The position is part of our staff of six people who are the operational support for association and football activities.
You work full-time with unregulated working hours 40 hours a week. Working hours vary between daytime, evenings and weekends depending on how you plan the work and when the business needs you. We are of course a fair workplace and belong to the collective agreement Sports, which you can read more about on the Union's website.
The workplace is our office, which is within walking distance of the commuter train station in Spånga. You will also be a frequent visitor to the football pitches that belong to our catchment area. Gläntan BP, Solhems BP, Nälsta BP and Spånga IP are examples of them.
