Football Academy Lead Coach



Salary: QR 14,000 Package Per Month (£ 3,030)
Visa, Annual Flights & Medical Insurance all provided by employer

All income is Tax Free in Qatar

Location: Doha, Qatar
Hours: 40 Hours per week over 6 working days.

Holidays: 4 weeks per year outside of Academy delivery time.



ICON Football Academy is one of the leading football providers in Qatar. We are hiring 2 new full-time coaches who will be responsible for planning and delivering football sessions in line with the Academy philosophy and syllabus. Sessions are held 6 days a week across two locations and range from 4 – 8pm. There will be ample time for coaches to plan, assess and develop the football program with support from the Director of Football.



Responsibilities:

Ensuring sessions are delivered safely in a learner friendly environment by ensuring high quality, well planned and high tempo coaching.
Work towards the ICON syllabus and support the development of the scheme of work inline with the Academy philosophy and key aims and objectives.
Organising teams into the local Academy League ensuring all fixtures are met.
Fostering good sportsmanship in all team players, resolving disputes, and addressing bad behavior in a timely manner.
To deliver age-appropriate sessions that focus on both the individual player development and the team’s development.
Ensuring all sports equipment is available and in working order.
Hold parent feedback meetings termly.
To be flexible where necessary to meet the business needs and ensure growth and retention.


Requirements

FA Level 2 Coaching In Football Minimum, B License desirable.
Possess a Valid CRB
Emergency Aid and Relevant Safeguarding Certification
Experience in sports coaching at multiple age groups.
A background in grassroots football volunteering.
Passion for football and in-depth knowledge of the game.
Strong management, organisational, motivational, and strategising skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Disciplined self-starter with a positive attitude who deals with conflict well.

Successful candidates will be required to fly out to Doha, Qatar on Saturday 23rd August 2024.
