Coaching positions for UDA at Gloucester City AFC



Head Coach

UDA at Gloucester City AFC is seeking a Head Coach for its Hellenic League team.
Reports to Head of Football academy


Qualifications
UEFA B preferred
Ability to use technology essential
Background in sports science and strength and conditioning preferred
First Aid qualified or in progress
Able and willing to drive
3 training nights and game day availability
Professional club coaching experience preferred


Job Responsibilities:


Three on-field evening coaching sessions, Monday, Tuesday and Friday evening (8.00pm-10.00pm) time may vary depending on facilities availability
Deliver one early morning technical training session once per week 7.30-9.00am; Tuesday for UDA men and women as student timetable permits
Conduct a Sports psychology session and/or speed agility session prior to their the Strength and Conditioning session on Thursday evening
Oversee strength and conditioning sessions and fitness testing on Thursday evening
Coach the UDA development Hellenic team on game days (Saturdays)
Assistant the head of the academy with the UDA Bucks team if required (Wednesday afternoon)
Driving students from Cheltenham and Gloucester campus to training facility at GCAFC and on game days
Conduct a match analysis sessions with Hellenic team
Develop an individualized improvement plan for each player on the team
Work with student support regarding academic, social or emotional issues.
Provide a report on the players to the Program director regarding progress and issues that need to be addressed
Work with the head of academy regarding players development and progress for the reserve team

Assistant Coach

UDA is seeking two (2) assistant coaches to work with the Head coach at Gloucester City for its Hereforshire and Hellenic League teams
Reports to the head coach


Qualifications
FA qualified
Ability to use technology
First aid or in progress
Ability and willingness to drive
Available for two sessions (minimum) per week plus a game day


This is a paid per session position based qualifications and experience
