First Team Travel and Logistics are responsible for the planning and delivery of the all-encompassing travel, logistics and matchday operations for all First Team matches, both domestically and overseas, including the Premier League, European competitions, domestic cups, friendlies, and pre/post season tour trips.
First Team Travel and Logistics work with a wide variety of people at varying levels - playing staff, non-playing staff, internal stakeholders, external suppliers.
The First Team - Travel and Logistics Assistant will assist with the organising of matchday operations, travel, and logistics for the First Team.
You must be available to travel with the team to all away matches domestic and overseas. Work at domestic and international away matches and perform key matchday duties as outlined in the key responsibilities.
To assist with the preparations and delivery of the matchday operations, travel, and logistics, of all First Team matches, including Premier League, European competitions, domestic cups, friendlies, and pre/post season Tour matches, supporting the First Team - Travel and Logistics Manager to plan and deliver a seamless matchday operation, with elite performance in mind at all times.
The First Team - Travel and Logistics Assistant will be based full time at the training ground in London Colney.
Working closely with First Team - Travel and Logistics Manager, as well as other First Team support staff, to plan, prepare and deliver an optimum schedule for all domestic matches.
Work closely with First Team - Travel and Logistics Manager, club's Senior Travel Manager and Travel Team, to plan, prepare and deliver an optimum schedule for all overseas matches.
Support with the production, completion, and submission of a wide variety of travel and matchday related documentation, clearly and precisely.
To travel in advance of the First Team to all away matches, domestically and overseas, to ensure all requirements are arranged as secured and remaining with the Team to assist throughout the duration of the Team's stay.
To assist working with local authorities, Police, the opposition Clubs and governing bodies.
Building strong working relationships with First Team travel related suppliers, including but not limited to the Club's preferred Aircraft Broker, coach company, car companies, hotels etc.
Assist with the coordination, finalising, creation and circulation of all travel related documentation and communication, to playing and non-playing staff.
Working closely with the Club's Player Liaison to assist with keeping personal information updated, assist with securing all match related travel documentation and adherence to entry requirements, including visas, for all Players and Backroom Staff.
Support successful adherence to matchday protocols as demanded by relevant governing bodies.
Work alongside relevant staff to ensure First Team adhere to competition rules and regulations around timings, including arrive to matches on time, escalating issues as appropriate.
Assist with any operational matchday tasks, to support and contribute to the Team's success on the pitch.
Undertake and manage any First Team operations administration as allocated, working closely with the Football Services Manager and First Team support staff to deliver.

Must adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Arsenal Football Club and its operation.
Undertake other tasks that from time to time may be allocated to the jobholder that are appropriate to the grade of the job and the objectives of the Football Services Dept. and Travel Team.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
Higher education and above.
Tenacious and proactive attitude, with ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
Must have strong skills in quality management, attention to detail and effective planning, communication, operational and execution skills.
Experience should have been gained from within a fast moving, high pressure, commercially focused and brand sensitive organisation/role.
Proven and sound experience dealing and communicating with a wide cross section at varying levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Demonstratable experience of customer focus.
Previous experience of working in a time sensitive environment and under pressure.
Qualification from the travel industry.
Previous experience of working for/alongside a Premier League Football Club.
Exceptional organisation and administration skills, including the proven ability to manage a fast-paced and varied workload.
Must be able to work alone, under pressure and keep to deadlines, constantly prioritising and supporting the needs of the business.
Able to communicate effectively and clearly with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, adapting style and approach as and when required.

Ability to deputise in the absence of the First Team - Travel & Logistics Manager.
