First Team Physiotherapist Role in AC Sparta Praha

Hours per week: Full time requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends, plus regular to
travel to away matches
Contract: Permanent (start date 18th of June 2024)
Salary: Competitive

Your role:
First team physiotherapist is a key role in our interdisciplinary team providing a complex upto-date work. You will be involved in day-to-day processes consisting of broad-spectrum
tasks. You should be able to provide manual treatment, help with performance profiling to
our performance staff, work with injured players in the gym and provide advanced emergency
aid during trainings and matches. You should have a good understanding of injury
rehabilitation and all its stages, including load management, periodization, exercise selection,
reconditioning and contextualization in rehab. All of these included in a robust data-driven
system. First team medical team is consisting of three physiotherapists and one doctor on a
daily basis. Your role will include travelling to and providing medical cover alongside a team
doctor at matches.

communication needs to be clear as a precursor to building rapport with players and
colleagues. You must be a highly motivated and driven person, who continues to develop
yourself professionally to remain at the forefront of sports physiotherapy.
Your background:
As a successful candidate you should demonstrate listed qualifications:
- Relevant education in Physiotherapy (preferrable MSc, minimum BSc of
Physiotherapy)
- Relevant experience in elite football club (minimum 3 years)
- Evidence of working in a multi-disciplinary team in a professional sporting
environment
- Evidence of developing, implementing and evaluating physiotherapy programs for
elite athletes, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning skills.
- English language at full professional proficiency level – spoken and written
- Insights into injury reconditioning with a good understanding of gym programming
- Experienced in a pitch-side advanced emergency aid
