ROLE DESCRIPTION
About us
Established in 1997, Fleetwood Town Football Club is a professional association football club based
in the town of Fleetwood, Lancashire. The team compete in EFL 1, the third tier of English football.
The home ground is Highbury Stadium in Fleetwood and its training ground is Poolfoot Farm, in
Thornton-Cleveleys.
Fleetwood Town is committed to providing all employees with the opportunity for career and

Poolfoot Farm was officially unveiled by the great Sir Alex Ferguson on 20th April 2016 and is home
to 16 football pitches both artificial and natural grass, an elite performance building, gymnasium,
playground and a destination restaurant. The site offers football for all areas of the game from
grassroots through to the elite 1st team squad.
Key Responsibilities (But not limited to):
Lead and oversee the club’s Performance Analyst department
Review opposition match footage and provide insights to the relevant coaching staff and
create detailed analysis presentations to facilitate game plan and game review creation
Produce post-match videos and reports for the coaching staff
Video editing and telestration of pre match videos (set plays presentations, unit meetings)
Set piece analysis, databasing and the researching of best practice for set pieces
Penalty taker analysis for upcoming opponents
Filming and coding of training sessions to aid with pre match preparations
Work with event data to provide squad benchmarking analysis across the English Football
Leagues and assist with preparation on the opposition
Assist and support the recruitment department by providing detailed analysis on targets
including statistical benchmarking
Attend all first team matches (home and away) to provide live feedback to the coaching staff
on the bench
Ensure the club are up-to-date with the latest software and advances in technology.
Provide clear strategy and guidance to staff members on roles and responsibilities within the
department.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Essential
Can evidence a portfolio of work, demonstrating an ability to work with Hudl Sportscode
Elite and Statsbomb to build, maintain and display output that enhances analysis and player
recruitment.
Experience working with event data to pull relevant information for our coaching staff and
players (pre- and post-match).
A sound understanding of the game. Including, but not limited to, the technical and tactical
analysis of teams and individuals.
Experience of working in a professional Football club delivering performance analysis
supporting both coaching and recruitment staff.
Desirables
Experience of working within another professional sporting environment to that of football.
Holds Intermediate Level Football Coaching Qualifications.
Technology
Extensive experience of Hudl Sportscode & Statsbomb.
Experience of using a drone to film training.
Experience setting up live feed to the bench on matchdays.
Presentation and document software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Keynote).
