ROLE DESCRIPTION

We have a remarkable track record of nurturing talent through our Academy, promoting players to the first team, and maximising their performance.

We are recruiting a First Team Individual Player Development Coach to join us on our journey as we strive to achieve our vision of being an outstanding community-owned club, playing football at the highest sustainable level, As First Team Individual Player Development Coach you lead on first team and PDP (U21) coaching ensuring high performance through the planning, delivery and review process of all sessions and individual development plans.

Through your innovative coaching methods, you will bring energy and focus and ensure these methods are aligned to the agreed coaching philosophy and the Club’s vision. Reporting into the First Team Manager you will work closely with the coaching and support staff building strong professional relationships creating a positive and collaborative environment.

Striving to improve player performance you will use your knowledge and experience within an elite environment to drive standards, provide learning and development opportunities and challenge and inspire the team through clear and transparent communication.

You will sense the pride we have in what we have achieved and the respect we have for our heritage. Joining our unique supporter owned Club you will be mindful of our history, focus on the present and be responsible for our future within an environment where everyone feels valued and understands their contribution to the success of the Club.

This is a full-time position based at The Cliff Hill Training Ground and the successful candidate will be expected to travel with the first team in line with matchdays and home and away fixtures. Candidates must have a UEFA A Licence a strong work ethic in line with industry demands, a development mindset and an ability to analyse and review performance of players is critical.

Prior to commencing work a right to work document(s) must be presented and references and a DBS Check will need to be undertaken.
