Role description

POSITION SUMMARY:Houston Dynamo FC is seeking candidates for First Team Field Specialist – Grounds.  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare First Team training pitches to MLS standards daily.Be on site with First Team for most/all training sessions.Perform typical MLS groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, aerating, fertilizing, spraying, painting, etc. to provide best-in-class training surfaces for our First Teams.Other duties as assigned  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 1 year working for an MLS Club grounds department.Internal candidates encouraged to apply.Proven successful execution of turfgrass maintenance at a Major League facility.Formal turfgrass management education and experience preferred, especially certifications in the industry. SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: Ability to report to work on a daily/steady basis to support the Club.Ability to work outdoors in all Houston weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat.   *We are an equal opportunity employer.
