What is the role?
You will be working within the Performance Analysis department, delivering video and data analysis to players and staff, ensuring they receive an analysis service that develops their tactical and technical intelligence in a proactive, stage specific manner.
What will you be doing?
You will watch opposition to help prepare coaches and players for competitive fixtures in rotation with the Head of Performance Analysis. Moreover, you should ensure all player’s needs are met both pre-season and throughout the season.
You will take responsibility for creating and maintaining Individual Development Plan (IDP) databases from training and matches for each First Team player. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating an IDP session tracker, ensuring it is up to date, to provide insight. You will also support the data team and external data providers to ensure position specific profiles measure performance accurately.
In this role, you will film training on pitch using fixed cameras and process and upload all matches to our platforms and the internal server in the correct format. Contributing to the best practice databases across the club, ensuring they are aligned to the game model.
You will also be required to assist the Analysis Department with ad-hoc requests and supporting future talent by mentoring students in the First Team Performance Analysis Department.

The ideal candidate for this role should be adaptable to changing situations on and off the pitch. They should also be proactive with managing and planning their workload whilst maintaining attention to detail. The ideal candidate should also be able to build relationships with players and staff across the club and posses good communication skills.
Essential Skills and Experience
A good level of knowledge related to analysis software and hardware
A high level of understanding and experience in relating to feedback and learning environments at different ages and stages
Experience in interpreting data
Experience using Apple and Microsoft products
A Bachelor’s Sport Degree or a Master’s degree on Performance Analysis or Sport Science
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience in supporting a First Team
Experience using Hudl and Pixellot products or similar systems
UEFA B Licence
