Position: FEMALE OPDL Assistant Coaches
Reports to: High Performance Manager & Technical Director
Salary: dependent on quali>ications and experience
Starting Date: Immediately (current and 2024 season)
Cambridge United is seeking qualified Female Assistant coaches to join our current OPDL staff.
The chosen candidates will work alongside the Performance Manager, Head Coaches and Technical
Director.
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
Support and promote Ontario Soccer Long-Term Player Development Plan (LTPD).
Assist the Head Coach in planning and delivering training sessions in line with the coaching LTPD.
Coach and travel with the team to all the events throughout the 2023 season.
Liaise with other coaches in CYS to identify and promote to the OPDL program.
Assist the Head Coach in preparing player evaluations as requested by Ontario Soccer.
To be responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care.
Extensive knowledge of the Game.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
A clear understanding of the soccer environment in Southwest Soccer and Ontario.
Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Possess a minimum Ontario Soccer ‘C’ Licence and willing to work towards the CSA National B
License.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
