JOB TITLE: Facility Operations Intern – Etihad City Football AcademyDEPARTMENT: InfrastructureREPORTING TO: Manager, Facilities Operations – Etihad City Football AcademyLOCATION: Orangeburg, NYCOMPENSATION: $15/ hour, 30 hours per week This paid internship is expected to start early May and conclude end of August. The individual will be expected to work a maximum of 30 hours a week. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Facility Operations Intern will assist the Facilities Operations Team in the delivery of management and administrative services that support the operations of the Etihad CFA New York, ensuring the highest standards of facilities service delivery for NYCFC. PRIMARY DUTIES:Assists the Facility Operations Team with support to include facilities management, administrative duties, front of house management, security administration, greeting visitors, managing vendors/contractors, and managing mail/deliveries. Supports the day-to-day administrative functions of the facility such as receiving invoices, monitoring site security, ordering goods, updating and maintaining inventory, maintaining office equipment, maintaining fleet vehicles, updating and maintaining office records including health and safety records as required. Supports the Training Facility Coordinator and Manager, and associated vendors in the facilities management of the Etihad CFA New York to include catering, cleaning, maintenance, security, life safety, fleet services, grounds, landscaping and other areas as required.Provide overall support to the NYCFC Sporting Department, including NYCFC First Team, NYCFC 2 Team and Academy Teams and works closely with all NYCFC Staff to provide the most efficient and effective administrative and facilities management services in support of the Club. Responsible for the administration, enforcement and upkeep of facilities operations manuals and policiesAssists in external contractor management Effectively manages internal and external stakeholder relationships as it relates to the administration and operations of the Etihad CFA New YorkAttend internal meetings as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Currently enrolled at an accredited College/UniversityFacilities management experience a plus. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Bilingual skills a plusMust have excellent communication, time management, organization, and customer service skillsMust be proficient in PC systems including Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point and database-related platforms. Must be willing to take initiative and be flexible in order to achieve superior results in support of the club. Must have a proven commitment and work ethic to achieve highest standards of service.
