About the job
The position will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing of modules in the AFC Referee Academy and other related initiatives and will coordinate with Member Associations (MAs), Referee Instructors, and AFC Divisions & Departments, to enable the AFC Referees Department to provide quality refereeing education to potential young referees.
Key Accountabilities
The Executive's main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for the preparation and execution of the online and onsite modules in the AFC Referee Academy by coordinating with relevant experts and resources.
Upon request, assist other units for the preparation and execution of refereeing activities including refereeing activities, including refereeing competition operations.
Keep track of the theoretical and practical performance data of the academy referees involved in the modules.
Collect match and assessment data of the academy referees.
Produce report cards for the academy referees after completion of each Academic year based on the collected data.
Management of teaching materials.
Assist the Manager to review the curriculum by providing substantial data and feedback.
Assist the Manager to conduct meetings with MA representatives.
Produce a brochure for a new intake by reflecting revised policies.
Manage referee attire and training equipment for the academy referees.
Produce Academy branded items when necessary.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
Minimum Bachelor's Degree holder, preferably in the field of Sports Management, Education, Business Administration or International Relations. Certification in Sports Management will be an asset.
Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in related fields.
Experience in school administration and any football/refereeing experience will be an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent organizational skills.
Team oriented.
