Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director, Competitions, the Executive (Competitions) shall be responsible for the daily administration of the various competitions and tournaments under the purview of the Department. The Executive (Competitions) is also required to assist in the planning and execution of football events and projects.
Job Description
Perform the role of Competition Manager for assigned portfolio.
Scheduling and drafting of Association’s domestic competition formats and league fixtures as directed.
Assist in planning, coordination and execution of all FAS and Singapore Premier League tournaments, matches, events, exercises and projects.
Handle all administrative and operational functions related to FIFA Connect, MyFAS and AFC Competition Management System and their related modules.
Correspondence with Clubs on all competition matters.
Perform duties of the Competitions Official at Singapore Premier League and international matches outside of official working hours on a regular basis.
Perform duties of the General Coordinator/Assistant General Coordinator and other supporting roles during tournaments and matches as directed.
Maintain systematic records and statistics of relevant competitions and tournaments and database of players/officials.
Assist and conduct various meetings, briefings, presentations and workshops for clubs and other stakeholders.
Conduct pre-season, in-season and post-season stadium inspections.
Perform duties of the Secretary – FAS Competitions Committee or other Committees as assigned.
General department administration and clerical duties.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Director (Competitions) and Senior Manager (Competitions).
Undertake any other duties as assigned by Director (Competitions) and/or the Deputy General Secretary and/or the General Secretary.
Pre-requisites
Candidate must have graduated with a Diploma/Degree course in related discipline.
Has good general knowledge of local and international football and basic understanding of football operations and the IFAB Laws of the Game.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in drafting presentation materials, report writing and data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both written and spoken.
Proficient in delivering presentations and conducting meetings.
Highly meticulous with ability to meet strict deadlines.
Able to multi-task, balance priorities and work under pressure.
Able to work independently and a good team player.
Able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
