THIS WILL BE YOUR JOB



As Event Support you are part of the Events team that is responsible for the organization of many large and small events of the Royal Belgian Football Association.

Your duties include the following:

You are responsible, in collaboration with the Match & Event Manager, for the general event coordination of the matches and the associated organizations
Coordination of all the matches and UEFA tournaments of the KBVB and national teams. This includes the matches of our Red Devils, Red Flames, U21, Futsal Devils, youth teams and the final of the Belgian Cup men, women and futsal.
You follow up various event files from A to Z and together with your colleagues from the Events team and other departments (security, ticketing, communication, commercial,..) you ensure the full operational elaboration on the basis of a scenario;
You communicate with external partners, suppliers, volunteers and you can direct them at any time to ensure that the event runs smoothly;
You are responsible for the budget follow-up and administration of your own event files. Managing multiple files at the same time is no problem.


DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE?

You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in organizing events and with their preparation and handling;
You have sufficient experience with planning. You have the necessary people skills to manage and support an extensive team of employees, involved partners and volunteers on the day of the event, based on the detailed plan and to make adjustments if necessary;
Experience in organizing events for the general public (>5000) and sports events in general is a plus. Experience in the specific field that is football is certainly not a must;
You are a meticulous administrative talent who can translate the chaos of competitions and other events into clear agreements and administrative information;
You prepare a clear (budget) report before, during and after the event;
You are willing to work flexible hours;
You are in possession of a B driving license and your own car.
Your language skills

You have very good communication skills and are 3-lingual (NL-FR-ENG). Knowledge of other languages ​​is a plus.

You have strong communication & organizational skills;
You are a hands-on and organized multitasker with an eye for detail;
You can work independently as well as in a team to achieve a joint result;
You have a flexible attitude, both for working hours and for carrying out your tasks;
You are stress resistant, punctual and structured. You have a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude: proactive and solution-oriented;
Tight deadlines or last-minute changes are no problem for you: you remain calm and make well-considered decisions;

You attach great importance to service and integrity.
