About the role
We are looking for an experienced Equality and Inclusion Advisor to support our Head of Inclusion to deliver the Club’s Inclusion Action Plan by working with supporter groups to deliver key initiatives with external partners.
As a role model for inclusivity across the Club you will advise on and embed best practice including delivering inductions, and inclusion training for all staff. Supporting the delivery of Club’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy by working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners the role will focus heavily on ensuring all administrative tasks and evidence is submitted and maintained in line the Premier League Equality Standards requirements.
Supporting stakeholders to undertake meaningful Equality Impact Assessments across the Club the role will also represent NUFC at supporter and stakeholder meetings.
Match day working is essential in this role.
Your impact
You will have degree level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience acquired in a similar role, underpinned by a sound working knowledge of the EDI landscape.
Possessing an extensive understanding of the practical implication of the Equality Act 2010 you will significant experience of managing and maintaining internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence and negotiate on all aspects of EDI.
A formal Equality and Diversity qualification would be highly desirable, but not essential, as would previous experience working with Premier League Equality Standards.
