Job Description Key Responsibilities Attending live fixtures and completing video assessment of players on a daily / weekly basis. Supported with Match / Player reports. Pro Actively researching the market prior to attending fixtures with a targeted approach. Checking club data on emerging talent daily / weekly to help identify targets through the clubs software platforms. Help identify and assess emerging talent to the level required across all competitions. Compiling shortlists and recommendation of players on a daily / weekly basis in readiness for the Head Of Emerging Talent based on the requirements of the club. Pro Actively feeding back on a daily basis to share information. Using own initiative to follow up on key targets Building external and internal relationships Working closely and maintain a positive working relationship with key personnel within the recruitment department. Fixture organisation – strategic and targeted approach to match Coverage based on succession plan and key position requirements. Attending weekly Recruitment meetings to discuss reports /fixtures / targets Daily communication with key personnel in the recruitment department including other THFC scouts within the UK. Contact with clubs / intermediaries. Submitting own fixture requests. Previous experience of working within a professional football environment. Strong work ethic and passion for the job. The ability to work in a team environment and work under pressure. Experience in writing player reports and the ability to adapt to the clubs requirements. IT literate with the ability to learn quickly. Ability to work to tight deadlines when requested. Confident interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant scouting software such as ISF Scout7 and Hudl. Knowledge of computer productivity programmes such as Tableau, Excel. Ability to adapt to a changing market Ability to adapt to the needs of the club.
