Our Academy Recruitment team are looking for two coaches to come and join our Emerging Talent Centre structure. The successful candidates should have a passion for the development of players, and a proven track record of undertaking player assessments which contribute to the individual development plans of players moving through the emerging talent structure. The Academy Recruitment Department are looking for candidates with strong reporting skills, who will monitor the progression of potential talent to feedback to the wider recruitment team. The following opportunities are available:


2 x Emerging Talent Coach - Post Ref: AC102023-PTETCC
Role 1: Dronfield, Kiveton Park - Monday, Friday
Role 2: Kiveton Park, Goals Soccer Centre, SUFC Academy - Mon, Wed, Fri


Role Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high quality coaching sessions to the players within the Emerging Talent structure.
Complete assessments and reviews of players in the system as directed by the Centre Coordinator.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive and up-to date record of the progress of players within the Emerging Talent Centre on PMA ensuring this information is kept up to date throughout the course of their time with the Emerging Talent Centre and treated confidentially.
To implement the Club's coaching philosophy into player assessments, demonstrating the key principles and expectations within individual player reports.
To demonstrate a holistic understanding of Emerging Talent Centres' contribution to the overall Academy structure and recruitment and selection process.
Attend CPD events as directed by the Head of Local Recruitment.
Attend Zone meetings as directed by the Centre Coordinator.
Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.
To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.
To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.
To adhere to the Club's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.


Essential Criteria for the role:

Member of the FA licensed coaching club
FA Level 2 Coaching
FA Safeguarding Children certification
FA Emergency First Aid in Football certification
An enhanced criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring Service


Desirable Criteria for the role:

To hold the UEFA B License/ UEFA B Goalkeeping License.
FA Talent ID Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification
