Hours of Work:​Hours are set to meet the needs of the business but are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION​

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES


With all Academy Staff including MDT, support staff and site staff.
All Academy boys across all age-groups.
Parents and carers of our schoolboys.
Partnership schools including any external agencies or networks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


Contribute to reviews of departmental objectives and the KPI process.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Academy APP Education section.
Ensure that all relevant data is inputted and monitored on the Academy Education SharePoint pages ensuring tracking academic progress on the academic flightpath.
To take an active role in both internal and external inspections (LFE, PGAAC, Barnardo) supporting the Head of Education when required.
To maintain high standards of academic records for all U9 U16 Schoolboys.
To support the Head of Education in ensuring MDPR Reviews are completed for all Schoolboys on the KitLabs/ PMA platform.
To attend PRM and Academic meetings with the Head of education when required to do so.
To contribute to the development of resources and educational aids for use on the HYBRID programme.
To perform other duties as requested by the Head of education and Academy Manager(s).
To support the Head of education, Head of Player Care and Head of Academy Recruitment with the player transitions and exit pathways.
To support the School Liaison Officer with building the relationship with our schoolboys, parents/carers and our partnership schools on a regular basis in order to build and develop positive relationships fostering collaborative working with all stakeholders.
To support the Head of Player Care and Head of Education with the planning and delivery of the Life Skills and Personal Development programme in accordance with EFL YD Rules.
Communicate and promote the Academy Culture and Values of Honesty, Hard Work and Commitment within the elite environment for the development of our young players.
Attend all professional development events when required (CPD events).
Actively engage in a fully functioning competency framework and integrated appraisal process with the Head of Education.
Monitor and uphold the well-being of Academy Players at all times ensuring liaising with the Academy or Club Safeguarding Manager/MyConcern platform when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures contained within the Staff Handbook/ Code of Conduct paying particular regard to the EDI and Health and Safety policies/procedures at all times.
Any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by the Head of Education and/or Academy Manager(s).

Qualifications
Essential Requirements

Educated to Degree Level.
PGCE, ECT, QTS, QTLS qualified or working towards.

Desirable Requirements​



Valid Driving Licence.

Terms of Appointment​

37.5 hours per week.
20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
6-month probation period.
