ROLE DESCRIPTION

About the job
The role is to manage and oversee our successful Football Education programme, managing a team of staff to deliver Pearson BTEC qualifications and to compete in the National Football Youth League. The role will include a teaching commitment, along with managing the partnership between our education partner, Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form, Crawley.



Role Specific Responsibilities

1. To manage the Education programme within the Foundation.
2. Work closely with our educational partner to fulfill the requirements of the partnership agreement.
3. To manage a team of staff supporting students towards the achievement of qualifications and personal goals. 4. To successfully deliver the Pearson BTEC Sport Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
5. To identify resources attached to the Foundation and Crawley Town Football Club that make lessons more engaging, informative and work related.
6. To ensure all student coursework is constantly monitored and the desired standards of work are being achieved, to a standardised level across the programme.
7. To produce lesson planning material to the expected standards that can be shared with other members of staff.
8. To provide support to students looking at exit routes towards the end of their education.
9. To provide accurate and informative feedback to parents/carers during student review meetings.
10. To support the implementation of an effective plan for future cohorts.
11. To provide additional academic support to students across all cohorts to ensure students are aware of and supported to reach their potential.
