Department - Marketing
Location – Stamford Bridge Cobham
Hours – Permanent – 35 hours, any 5 from 7

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an Editorial Lead to be responsible for the editorial output and content strategy across our owned and operated platforms: the Chelsea FC website and the 5th Stand App. Duties include:
-      Lead our editorial output and decision-making across the Chelsea FC website and the 5th Stand App
-      Devise and implement an editorial and content strategy for both platforms that supports the commercial and marketing objectives of the club.
-      Work closely with the product team to ensure content and editorial supports the development of our owned and operated platforms as products.
-      Assure a data and insight-led approach to editorial and content across OO platforms, developing a stronger understanding of our audiences and segments, as well as fan and customer journeys within those platforms.
-      Deliver content tailored to our audiences and segments with clear purpose according to our business objectives.
-       Support the social media team with editorial decision-making and tone of voice on club channels.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:
-      Proven experience in an editorial role with an online publisher, preferably across multiple platforms including website, app and social media.
-      Experience of delivering editorial content to an app and preferably experience of supporting the development of that app as a product.
-      Strong experience of managing teams and individuals to success.
-      Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing content strategies, including tone of voice for a publisher.
-      Experience of a football club is absolutely not essential, we encourage expertise and skills from other sports and other sectors, but a passion and deep interest in football and how it communicates with its fans and audiences is essential.
Nice to Haves:
-      A Master’s level degree in sport business or sport management, or other relevant field
-      Experience of fast-paced and complex environments, where there is considerable public and media scrutiny, is desirable.
