We are searching for a passionate and proactive EDI Coordinator to join our HR team. This role will assist the Head of HR in achieving the EDI strategy for the Club and supporting the Club in fostering a culture of inclusion.


Responsibilities:


Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Responsibilities:

Support the Head of HR in the development of the EDI strategy
Coordinate internal and external EDI groups and networks
Collate EDI activity information from CPFC, our Training Academy and Palace for Life Foundation identifying areas of collaboration
Take responsibility for, and ensure continuous development of, EDI policies and processes
Coordinate EDI projects and events
Identify and propose appropriate programme of events within the Club calendar
Work with Head of HR to adhere to the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion standard and requirements
Lead of the collation of data and analysis to evidence compliance with PLEDIS standard and FLDC reporting
Aid in the creation and development of annual reports outlining the progress of the Clubs EDI activity against targets
Identify required internal training and appropriate training providers
Act as a champion for EDI across the business
Identify EDI initiatives and activities to help the Club achieve their EDI action plan
Employee Experience Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation of an internal communications plan
Support with the design and implementation of an employee intranet site that promotes engagement across the Club
Ensure agreed internal communication actions take place and are accessible to all Team members
Assist with the creation of an onboarding programme
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Assist with the monitoring of the effectiveness of EDI and engagement initiatives across the club.
Support the wider HR team with various duties as/when required.
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

A passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion along with some demonstratable experience working in EDI
Awareness and understanding of Equality Legislation, policy and best practice
Commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills
An excellent administrator with a high attention to detail
Interested and passionate about human resources and people
Proficient and experienced in using all Microsoft applications
Personable, approachable and have excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organised multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail
Discrete and able to keep sensitive information confidential
