About this role:

We are searching for a highly organised and proactive EDI Co-ordinator to join our team. This role will assist the Chief People Officer in the monitoring of the EDI strategy and delivery plan for the Club in order to continue to improve on our culture of inclusion and achieve our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Responsibilities:

Support the Chief People Officer in the implementation of the EDI strategy
Play a key role in implementing and monitoring the EDI delivery plan.
Coordinate internal and external EDI groups and networks
Co-ordinate all EDI activities and activations for the Club and act liaise with the Palace for Life Foundation to identify areas of collaboration.
Work with the Chief People Officer to ensure continuous development of EDI policies, procedures and processes
Coordinate EDI projects and events in accordance with the yearly calendar.
Work with Chief People Officer and other members of the SLT to achieve the advanced level of the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion standard (PLEDIS) and requirements
Lead on the annual data collection exercise, collate and present the insights in a structured format in accordance with the PLEDIS standard requirements.
Aid in the creation and development of annual reports outlining the progress of the Clubs EDI activity against targets
Liaise with appropriate training providers
Act as a champion for EDI across the business
Identify EDI initiatives and activities to help the Club achieve their EDI action plan


Employee Experience Responsibilities:

Assist with the monitoring of the effectiveness of EDI and engagement initiatives across the club.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Support the wider HR team with various duties as/when required.
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.


Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

A passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion along with some demonstratable experience working in EDI
Highly organised multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
An excellent administrator with a high attention to detail
Proficient and experienced in using all Microsoft applications
Personable, approachable and have excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstratable experience working in a fast paced environment, working towards and achieving tight deadlines.
Discrete and able to keep sensitive information confidential
