ROLE DESCRIPTION
The ECNL Technical Director is responsible for management, maintenance and implementation of the ECNL program in the U12-U19 ages and all Pre-ECNL teams.The ECNL Director shall at all times conduct his duties and report directly to the Director of Coaching.
The U16-U19 Boys Director of Coaching will be responsible for the management and oversight of all U16-U19 teams and coaches in Rio Rapids Soccer Club and will implement the philosophy and curriculum of the Club.This position will be responsible for ensuring quality development of male players of all ages and levels within the U16-U19 age range. They will be responsible for understanding customer feedback, driving continuous improvement and acting as a leader to implement improvements.
This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Coaching
Major objectives
Lead implementation of Rio Rapids Mission through player development pathways within the ECNL and U16-U19 ages.
Oversee Staff development and management in the ECNL and U16-U19 ages.
Create a positive culture that builds a mindset growth amongst the players, coaches and staff.

Develop a club wide direction for the ECNL teams to include
Style of play
Training Methodology
Incorporating Video analysis
Evaluating Fitness/strength program
Develop with the ECNL staff training schedules and seasonal plan.
Establish regular dialogue with Co Rapids DA on curriculum and season planning
Team Recruitment/Selection/Formation process
Run Tryouts
Oversight of Non Rio Rapids player recruitment list U11-U17
Oversight of Rio Rapids players that need opportunities with ECNL Pool - create list U13-U17
Create ECNL presentation for recruitment of Non-Rio rapids players/parents
Oversight of U18/U19 Plan for players/team each year (team play as mixed team or not)
Organize with the ECNL coaches club's ECNL tryout process (date, location, marketing)
Parent/Player Education Program
Develop ECNL Parent/Player Education Program as needed
Marketing/Communication
Oversee ECNL web page
Communicating player and team accomplishments for social media and web site posts
Oversight of Marketing any ECNL tryouts
Communication with staff and teams regarding ECNL news
Game day week meetings
Session planning
Game plan for opponent
Scouting reports
Additional Responsibilities

U16 -19 Boys Director include the following general areas:
Head coach teams as assigned for duration of fall & spring seasons
Staff coaching for duration of fall and spring seasons as assigned
Monitor and evaluate all boys teams U16 through U19
Communication, Education & Implementation of Age Group Objectives, Organization & Outcomes
Implementing Rapids Curriculum with U16-U19 coaches/teams
Communication & Implementation of Let us Play Campaign
Manage & Evaluate all U16-U19 Staff coaches, complete annual performance & career planning meetings with all coaches
Hold U16-U19 Coaches Meeting to review plans, age group objectives & direction for age group:
Identify and recruit players and teams from New Mexico and surrounding areas
Assist the U11-U15 Director in the transition from U15 to U16 for all Rio Rapids SC boys teams in those age groups
Recommend and advise on intra-club transfers, Club pass and playing up & training up opportunities
Communicate with all boys team coaches U-16 through U-19 on a weekly basis during the season
Ensure coaches completing player evaluations at U16 through U17 prior to tryouts
Ensure U16-U19 coaches are following club guidelines regarding the college process, ensuring RRSC college placements remain consistent
Attend Directors of Coaches meetings
Coordinate with Rio Rapids U19 staff to ensure full player pool potential
Attend all coach education within your age groups
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from an accredited institution.
5+ years coaching experience at the youth level, in a club setting or an elite player development environment.
USSF ‘B’ Coaching License (current) or the equivalent.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adhere to defined performance deadlines.
Ability to work well within a diverse group of leaders, with high levels of autonomy and to be able to deliver professional communication, written and verbal.
A positive approach and a commitment the RRSC philosophy of development first for all players within our membership and programs.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
Job Type: Full-time
Start Date - Now through Jan 1st 2024
Salary range of $42,000-$50,000 annually, based on experience.
