We are looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Manager to lead all aspects of diversity and inclusion (D&I) at our club. You'll define and deliver our strategy, embed best practices across the club, and work collaboratively across departments to deliver targeted initiatives.
This is a vital role for our club as you'll be leading the way to ensure that we remain and strive to be a real sporting leader across D&I. It is our goal to be a truly representative employer where everyone can be proud to say they work here and are part of the Arsenal family.
Who We Are
We are one of the most famous clubs in world football, with a rich heritage and history of success – read more about our history, here.
Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).
You'll establish and engage a cross-functional working group to drive and develop our D&I strategy and roadmap with clear annual plans and targets across departments.
You'll work closely with our Brand team to address the perceptions of football and help create a new narrative around the opportunities within our club.
Work alongside our People Team to define and deliver new recruitment and onboarding strategies, to ensure we are accessible to everyone.
Establish a regular review of policies and procedures throughout the organisation to consider fairness, transparency, accessibility, discrimination and equity, and the ability for staff to raise and report concerns.
Organise D&I and Mental Health related awareness initiatives to establish and communicate engaging and informative programmes for our people.
Provide subject-matter expertise on inclusive language and make recommendations on improvements across all our internal and external channels.
Identify, create, and strengthen strategic partnerships with D&I organisations, the Premier League, The FA and other external stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Diversity and inclusion experience at a public facing, major brand at a Managerial level.
Proven experience developing, implementing and improving a D&I strategy.
Demonstrable project management experience.
Excellent stakeholder management experience, with fantastic influencing skills.
A strong external D&I network.
