An exciting new opportunity has arisen within CACTs Mentoring Team for a Diversionary & Mentoring Officer to work with children and young people who have been involved with crime or are at risk of becoming involved in crime. Work will be focused largely in the Ashford (Kent) area and in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and London Borough of Bexley.
The successful candidate will provide a programme of early intervention, mentoring and support for the children and young people to guide them away from negative behaviour and its associated outcomes.
Suitable candidates will have experience of working with young people in a mentoring capacity as well as working with young people who have had issues related to involvement in crime and or anti-social behaviour.
