Responsibilities
Develop a continually evolving rehabilitation support model to underpin the health and sustainable success of SPL players
standards and procedures to optimise the infrastructure, facilities and delivery of rehabilitation support across the league, including to:
elite rehabilitation program and provide strategic and operational leadership for physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
Develop medical teams able to perform in a high challenge environment.
Develop and embed an effective rehabilitation management system, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative insights to ensure world leading service delivery to athletes and coaches.
Create a system to deliver education of good practice to ensure that knowledge, learnings and solutions can be rapidly shared and leveraged across the system to benefit performance.
Player workload management and training schedules during rehabilitation process

Development of fitness-based Rehabilitation protocols and return to performance frameworks.

Ensure collaborative, complementary, and cohesive medical service delivery to players across SPL clubs with the aim of preparing players to maximally perform after injury
Enhance connection and alignment between coaching and medical team services and assist support staff in optimally preparing players for training and return to competition
Work closely with medical teams to assist them to effectively engage with applied science, health, medicine, and data to optimize their progression of service their players/teams
Direct a professional development model to ensure all practitioners working within SPL clubs are continually trained in order to achieve World leading standards across each club
Lead and manage discipline leads in science and medicine to work in a highly collaborative way
Scan and filter for future trends in Rehabilitation Science, Health and Medicine that ensures the PACE provides tailored responses to future focused injury reduction challenges.
Promote innovative efforts to enhance and improve rehabilitation services
Enhance implementation and access to world class facilities enabling medical teams to provide rehabilitation service at elite standards,
evidence-based literature reviews / analysis to support a way of working.
and direct a standardised, development focused physical testing model for identified rehabilitation phases and return to play tests.
this testing model to assess and subsequently ensure smooth transfer from injury to participation in the Saudi Arabian league and test battery is comparable to European leagues demands.
Actively collect data alongside the delivery of the above to assist the rehabilitation insights department deliver intelligence.
Ensure players are consistently profiled and, all aspects of their performance and development are tracked and regularly reported.
Support clubs by directing a professional development model to ensure all practitioners working within SPL are continually trained in order to achieve world leading standards across each club.
Use data to oversee the process of ensuring identification, monitoring, and reduction of the risk of the most prevalent injuries and illnesses, including timely and integrated case management of any injury leading to a loss of training or performance
Work in collaboration with PACE departments as well as SPL Team Coaches and Performance Teams to review, and improve where possible, the delivery of day to day rehabilitation services
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in physical therapy, sports medicine, or related field
Certification from recognized fitness organization is preferred
Experience and track record in player rehabilitation at elite football club, federation, league, or other relevant entity
Experience working with elite football players and extensive understanding of their rehabilitation needs
Demonstrated success in improving player rehabilitation, and performance in previous roles
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, fitness metrics, and injury trends to tailor rehabilitation programs accordingly
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage interactions with a broad range of stakeholders at league-level, club-level, and the broader football ecosystem
