Nature Of Work

The Director of Team Operations works closely with the first-team players, coaches, and other technical staff, assisting with day-to-day administration, operations and logistical matters.

Examples Of Work Performed
Lead logistics coordination for all first-team travel:
Scheduling flights
Hotel and meal accommodations
First-team players, technical staff and front office staff transportation
Per diem distribution
Credentials
Assist first-team coaching staff with scheduling and logistical needs:
Weekly schedules
Travel schedules
Daily training schedules
Handle performance and equipment staff needs:
Ordering equipment
Processing invoices
Manage ticket requests for both home and away matches
Oversee reimbursements and other administrative tasks for current players
Facilitate onboarding new players
Supervise team coordinator
Liaise with counterparts at MLS office to ensure club adheres to all league policies regarding players, facilities, and competition
Coordinate with Rapids 2 administrator and front office staff when first team is involved
Act as liaison between locker room staff and front office staff

Qualifications
Minimum
2+ years’ experience or BS/BA degree in related field
High School or GED
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Interest and experience in competitive sports environment, soccer preferred
General understanding of MLS (Major League Soccer) and team structures
Proficiency in Foreign Language- especially Spanish and/or Portuguese- preferred
Previous experience in team operations preferred
Strong work-ethic and proactive attitude are essential
Strong professional presence, accountability, and ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines in fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel
Ability to handle discreet or sensitive information in a professional manner
Knowledge of local market
Compensation
Base salary range $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per annum
