Foundation Summary
The FC Tulsa Foundation is dedicated to building a stronger community by focusing in areas of education, health wellness, and recreational sports. We are dedicated to changing lives by supporting programs and non-profits for the Tulsa community. The FC Tulsa Foundation, a component fund of Tulsa Community Foundation (TCF), administers charitable programs affiliated with the FC Tulsa soccer team.

Position Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic Director, FC Tulsa Foundation to build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations with the intent to fundraise, manage, and execute FC Tulsa Foundation community programming initiatives. The FC Tulsa Foundation mission is to unite and inspire Tulsan through the highest level of professional sports in our city. The FC Tulsa and FC Tulsa Foundation core values are as follows:

The FC Tulsa Foundation focuses on supporting youth-serving organizations to deliver high quality programs, connects partners to youth and communities, and advocates for equitable out-of-school time experiences in Tulsa. The Director, FC Tulsa Foundation will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Partnerships Community Relations while also working closely with FC Tulsa ownership and front office staff.


Leadership Strategy
Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and initiatives that align with the organization's mission.
Fundraising Resource Development:
Secure funding through grant writing, donor relations, and fundraising activities.
Manage the organization budget, ensuring responsible fiscal management.
Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate donors.
Share the work of the organization and its impact at the city and state level at various meetings and conventions.
Program Management:
Ensure that programs are effective and meet the needs of the community.
Advocacy and Partnerships:
Set gameday appointments with prospective donors, and manage community partner gameday activations.
Staff Management:
Manage part-time staff with the goal to hire and onboard full-time employees as the Foundation scales.
Promote the organization work and foster positive relations within the community.
Community Engagement:
Engage the community, including attending meetings, events, and public speaking engagements.
Develop relationships with local media to bring awareness to the work and programming of the FC Tulsa Foundation.
Reporting Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide monthly and quarterly reports to FC Tulsa Foundation advisory committee.

General Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to stand for up to 5+ hours during a game.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain and heat.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years in sports, live entertainment, or community fundraising field.
Prior experience working in philanthropy and/or community programs.
Proven leadership and management experience, ideally in a non-profit or community development setting.
Strong fundraising skills and a track record of successful grant writing and donor relations.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Cultural competency: ability to build rapport with individuals from a wide variety of cultures, experiences, and backgrounds with a strong and enduring commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
CRM proficiency.

Hours Location:

Ability to work long hours, weekends holidays.
Primary office will be located in Tulsa, OK metro region and this position may have the ability to work remote on occasion.
This position will require frequent travel throughout the Tulsa area to meet with donors and organize gameday activities
