Position Purpose: The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the North Carolina Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (third-division men’s pro soccer team playing in USL League One), is seeking a Director, Community  who  is responsible for engagement and content across multiple portfolios and teams. The Director, Community is responsible for the overall success of our community campaigns and content efforts across multiple channels, and audiences. Responsibilities:Manage the Community Engagement team who are responsible for building community content strategies and campaigns that adhere to modern standards and maximize impact. Act as liaison with Marketing and Communications to ensure community engagement strategies are properly integrated and support existing marketing strategies.Ensure communications coherence and consistency between Brand Teams, Public Relations and Content Creator teams, and all fan facing messaging that may have impact on the campaign.Collaborate with the marketing team to create engagement plans, performance goals, content calendars, and impactful moments that drive service engagement.Oversee internal content teams to create social templates, videos, graphics, and live streams that thrive on various social platforms to bring our campaigns to life.Drive creative community content and publishing at scale, providing quality and relevant assets that spark online conversations and engagement across the ecosystem.Prepare, forecast, and manage budgets and resources, ensuring that our teams are properly supported.Attend community events when appropriate to represent the North Carolina Football Club and NC Courage brands.Build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key individuals, and other organizations.Be the principal ambassador for the organization, with responsibilities for delivering the company’s vision within the local community.Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company and build strong relationships with key community members.Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties – when needed, recruit a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist.Be an active leader within the community and in conjunction with the President, create a network of influencers within the market to help drive awareness and affinity for the event throughout the community.Define department KPIs, success-measurements, and continuous improvements to community content campaigns. Develop and execute the foundational community program, establishing processes for growth in programming and audience. Work with and oversee the Community Manager to continually improve the quality of programming and existing relationships in the Triangle Region and beyond. Part of the marketing and communications team, partner with cross-functional units to align cohesive organizational strategies. Be an ambassador for the organization within a thriving community.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
