POSITION SUMMARY:Houston Dynamo FC is seeking candidates for the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator in Houston, Texas. The Digital Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing but will also be accountable to all members of the Digital Marketing team. Specific areas of focus include creation and execution of promotional and marketing strategy for email correspondence and curating and maintaining content for houstondynamofc.com via the Club’s CMS system. This position will support all areas of the Club’s digital footprint including Houston Dynamo FC, Houston Dash, PNC Stadium, Houston Dynamo 2, youth clubs and affiliates, etc. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes the creation of promotional and sales-related emails, working in collaboration with ticketing, member services, sponsorship and marketing departments to identify relevant storylines and selectively target specific audiences for each communication. 
Generate a comprehensive email marketing strategy to both grow the engagement of email marketing efforts as well as generate new customers.
Works in collaboration with the Club’s creative team, ensuring accurate and consistent representation of the brand on all digital properties and channels, while speaking in a developed and connected voice that resonates with the club’s desired demographics.
Collaborate with digital team on website upgrades and back-end development of houstondynamofc.com.
Other duties as assigned
 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Email Marketing delivery systems.
0-2 years of HTML and content management systems for web sites; experience managing web content.
 
SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: 
Ability to perform in high-pressure environment under tight deadlines.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and timelines.
Tracking and adjusting plans based on data rich facts to improve the performance of the business.
Understanding of how various social media platforms operate on the back end (how each platform’s algorithms affect distribution and best practices to optimize content on each platform).
Strong writing skills are a must.
Spanish language communication skills (written and verbal) are preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Sales Force Marketing Cloud a plus.
