Role: Coach – Development Squad (Girls Academy)
Fixed Term Contract - X2 positions available
Division: Girls Academy
Reports to: Girls Academy Technical Director
The purpose of this role is to coach players within our Development Squad Team (Girls Academy). The role involves preparation, delivery and reflection of training sessions and fixtures alongside the completion and delivery of player assessment and feedback processes whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:
To prepare, deliver and reflect on training sessions and fixtures.
Responsible for implementing club methodology within our player development programme.
Completion and delivery of club player assessment and feedback processes to monitor player progression.
Be present at all Development Squad team training sessions and fixtures.
Attend all Girls Academy staff learning events.
Work collaboratively with coaches, GK coach and multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
FA level 3 / UEFA B License in Coaching Football
Current FA Safeguarding Certificate
Emergency Aid Certificate
Experience of planning and delivering high quality challenging and supportive coaching sessions
Excellent knowledge of the girl’s and women’s game
Passionate about youth player development
High level of organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
A team player
Passionate about continuous improvement
Resilient and adaptable to change
Experience of coaching in elite youth player development environments
Experience of working with female players between the ages of 16yrs and 21yrs of age
