IFK VÄRNAMO - REMOTE WORK - [INTERNSHIP] DATA SCOUTING

THE CLUB

IFK Värnamo is a football club in the highest division of Sweden, Allsvenskan. In the recent years, the club has made a journey from the nation's third division to the highest league in the country. It is a club in a growth phase that is constantly growing and for that reason we are now looking for three people for an internship within our scouting department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of a team working on scanning the market using data. Your work will involve scanning the market using data and predetermined KPI's to find relevant players who match the club's identity. You will be responsible for a specific area and league in Europe in order to create a list of players that could be of interest for the club in the future.

REPORTING AND ONBOARDING

You will work in close collaboration with the club's Sporting Director and you will report directly to him. The onboarding process and the necessary education to fulfill the role will be provided directly by our Sporting Director.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

We feel safe in our onboarding process and in our strategies. Therefore, we will prioritize enormous passion, personality, and a will to prove oneself in the football industry rather than individual requirements. However, the simple requirements below are a must:
English or Swedish language
Good football understanding (tactical and individual)
Possibility to work evenings and weekends.
