The NWSL Marketing organization activates the programs that power the NWSL brand to grow its fan base and amplify business impact. The BrandCreative Director, reporting to the CMO, will play a crucial role in defining and maintaining the brand voice and expression of the NWSL brand by partnering with agencies, producers, athletes, teams, broadcast partners and sponsors and other members of the NWSL leadership to deliver industry-leading ingenuity, creativity and humanity. Artfully articulate the NWSL brand vision across all consumer/fan touchpoints from online digital and social, to offline experiential events, merchandise, etc.
Develop engaging and relevant creative for championships, tournaments, launches, events, social, growth, and motion design disciplines.
Design in collaboration with cross-functional peers to bring NWSL brand to life in conjunction with Marketing, Sponsorship, Social, Broadcast and PR, along with NWSL clubs around the league to develop, design and deliver world-class creative executions.
Partner with outside agencies, production companies, sponsors and Nike to ensure NWSL is represented in the highest regard as a brand and partner.
Develop/design partnerships and creative collaborations of all kinds (merchandising, licensing, content) to deliver breakthrough work that grow the business and break the rules of branding.
Create and implement global brand standards and guidelines, stylebooks, sales, marketing, executive presentations and toolkits.
Assist Sponsorship team with creative materials, presentation and event support.
Be comfortable with a very hands-on design role with opportunity for growth, set a high bar for creative excellence, contribute to a creative culture that people want to join.
Liaison with NWSL team Creative Directors to share creative vision and assist with brand execution.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred, or further business/analytical education.
6- 8+ years' experience in creatively excellent brand team, ideally with experience in-house at a sports/entertainment brand, and agency-side working on top tier brands with demonstrated hands on experience with all facets of visual design, graphics, web, social and motion/video production.
Expert operator using Adobe After EFX, Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF and Microsoft PowerPoint and other creative tools.
Brand design experience is a must - from designing a city takeover for a Championship event, to new uniform kit branding with Nike and commercial spots, to guidelines and style books and social media graphics. Key is you can provide design leadership and support across a wide range of marketing assets and keen understanding of the design principles across different vehicles and touchpoints.

Strategic and innovative - a great problem solver. Can think big and small and have experience across 360 omnichannel creative expression and production: traditional, digital, social, experiential, product and ideas that drive earned media.
An ethical team player that can roll up their sleeves and pivot on the fly when priorities change with a positive "can do" attitude.
Annual Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
NWSL salaries are contingent upon candidates' qualifications, functional business needs, and market financials.
