Role description
Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. Now in its third season, Austin FC currently holds the longest active sellout streak in MLS.
Austin FC is actively seeking a driven and motivated Corporate Partnerships Executive to generate new business by building and selling fully integrated partnerships. This is a sales role that reports to the Director of Corporate Partnerships.
In this role, you will be responsible for connecting the Club with the Austin business community and national brands by prospecting, cultivating, and closing new business partnerships. You will also collaborate across departments to generate unique and creative partnership assets that properly align with the goals of Austin FC and the client to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
This position will be based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person at Austin FC office.

You Will:
Prospect and identify new potential partners and key relationships and sales opportunities; and
Build sales presentations, create partnership proposals, and set up introductory meetings to thoughtfully engage clients and share the Austin FC story; and
Negotiate deals from 6-7 figures annually; and
Work closely with corporate partnership activation team to ensure contractual fulfillment with an emphasis towards maximizing cross promotional opportunities; and
Network at local events including community, partnership, and other related opportunities; and
Work with marketing, promotions, ticket sales, ticket services, public relations, community impact and other departments to share new ideas and fulfill corporate partner programs; and
Develop relationships with local and national decision makers across marketing agencies; and
Entertain clients and partners at all Austin FC matches and other events; and
Be an active contributor in team meetings and other partnership-related meetings; and
Take part in the partnership onboarding process and sales development plan.
You Have:
Bachelor Degree required
Prior sales or sports experience is a plus
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
High proficiency in relationship building, relationship management and networking skills
Evidence of being a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media with diverse audiences
English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
Proficiency with presentation development, computer applications, and general office software is necessary

Hours are variable and can easily include early mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays in addition to the traditional Monday through Friday hours.
