Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. In June 2021, Austin FC began play in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium.  Opened in 2021, St. David’s Performance Center serves as the Official Training Facility of Austin FC.  Located at the Parmer Pond in North Austin, just seven miles from Q2 Stadium, the $45-million, privately financed, 23-acre complex is the training home of Austin FC’s first team, Austin FC Academy teams and future home of Austin FC’s MLS NEXT Pro Team.  Austin FC is actively seeking a resourceful and personable Team Operations Coordinator for Austin FC’s MLS NEXT Pro Team.  In this role, you will assist the Manager of Team Operations with a variety of duties including managing team equipment, planning of transportation and equipment needs, training session setup, player relations, and game day logistics.  This role will also work closely with Technical Staff from Austin FC’s first team and MLS NEXT Pro Team.   This unique role is a once-in-a-lifetime and career-defining opportunity. Austin has continuously been selected by U.S. News and World Report as a top city to live in the last six years while Forbes placed it at the top of its “Cities of the Future” list. Are You Someone That:·        Has an outstanding work ethic and pays close attention to detail?·        Thrives in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and quality?·        Works well within in a collaborative, team-driven, and goal-based environment? ·        Has a strong passion for soccer and representing the brand of Austin FC?·        Has the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships?·        Is resourceful, self-starter, with strong time management skills?  You Will:·        Keep inventory, and maintain required team equipment, apparel, footwear, and locker room supplies when needed for the MLS NEXT Pro team; and·        Assist in providing 30 plus players and staff with appropriate and proper equipment for training sessions and matches; and·        Assist with packing and execute transportation of team equipment for away trips and preseason; and·        Assist Technical Staff with day-to-day training session setup; and·        Manage St. David’s Performance Center Equipment room; and·        Assist in the management of player apartments; and·        Assist in player relocations; and·        Ensure player locker room is prepared for training each day (Equipment, breakfast, lunch, etc.); and·        Oversee Gameday Liaisons on Home Match Days; and·        Assist in execution of MLS NEXT Pro player appearances.You Have:·        Bachelor’s degree ·        Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional sports environment ·        Preferred experience using a heat press·        Proficiency in Microsoft applications·        Strong organizational skills·        Effective verbal and written communication skills, with diverse audiences·        English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus·        Attention to detail and dedicated work ethic ·        Knowledge of best practices and commitment to remain up to date with industry standards Other Details:·        It is the policy of Austin FC not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.  ·        All selected candidates are subject to passing a background check prior to employment.·        Hours are variable and can easily include early mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays in addition to the traditional Monday through Friday hours.
