The St. Louis CITY SC Special Events Team is seeking an experienced, driven, and knowledgeable candidate who will support primarily non-match day events and create unmatched stadium experiences in the venue's inaugural year.ABOUT TKFC LC | St. Louis CITY SCMajor League Soccer's (MLS) first majority female-owned and female-lead organization has its sights set on launching for the 2023 MLS season. The 100 percent St. Louis based owners are committed to becoming an exceptional club and neighbor and a symbol for the future of our city and region.St. Louis CITY SC will play in a brand new, state of the art soccer stadium to be built on approximately 30 acres in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Seating capacity of the open-air stadium will be approximately 22,500. Included with the build of the stadium will be the team Administrative Offices and Training Facility immediately adjacent to the stadium in Downtown West St. Louis.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Plan and execute year-round club events and activities with key departments to meet organizational goals such as Season Ticket Holder appreciation events, partner events, etc.Work closely with internal departments (Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, Ticketing) to organize successful events that are reflective of club brand and values.Suggest and implement innovative ideas based on a strong knowledge of available campus venues to continue to challenge and evolve annual events.Design all events with guest personnel in-mind while creating an exciting and new atmosphere at each event.Act as a primary point of contact for club events and manage each event from start-to-finish including load-in/load-out.Create event planning documents such as run-of-shows, site maps, and staff overview sheets.Track progress through internal documents while sharing feedback and consistent updates with essential stakeholders.Maintain relationships with regular vendors at the stadium including in-house caterers, décor companies, A/V providers, etc.Drive the planning process forward for all club events by conducting regular meetings, tours, and follow-up.Support the rest of the Special Events Team in the planning and execution of major events.Manage the department's inventory and storage of assets.Match day responsibilities and other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:2+ years of event experience.Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.Exceptional relationship management skills.Ability to coordinate multiple events while managing time effectively.Must be a self-starter and goal-driven with a passion for their work.Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.Significant experience with creative thinking and a solutions-oriented attitude.Strong professional communications and interpersonal skills when working with clients and internal groups to achieve organizational goals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to travel between office and stadium locations within the St. Louis metro area.St. Louis CITY SC is building a team that is passionate about their work, the success of our Club and the growth and revitalization of our region.
