Position Summary:Ontario Soccer is inviting applications for the contract position of Coordinator, Marketing, Partnerships and Events.
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing, Partnerships, and Events, this role is for those with a vested interest in events, marketing, and partnership development, and how one can raise the brand profile of amateur sport organizations. As the Marketing, Partnerships, and Events Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to develop marketing programs, collateral and creative assets under Ontario Soccer’s first-class brand umbrella, assist in promoting and executing top events and programs including the Ontario Soccer Summit, the Ontario Cup, and the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL), and build relationships with our suiteof partners to deliver value to them, day in and day out.
As a marketing/partnerships professional with two or more years of experience, you will have a strong background in marketing, event management, branding, and partnership servicing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:The Coordinator of Marketing, Partnerships, and Events will support the Marketing, Partnerships, and Events Manager in meeting the department’s operational objectives in the following areas:
Partnership Servicing and Procurement Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners, including:o Fulfillment of partnership agreements;o Management of activation programs, including onsite activations;o Day-to-day management of all partner requests and programs. Assist in developing pitch decks and proposals for new partners; Detailed tracking and reporting of Ontario Soccer – partner relationship and activations; General duties related to partnership sales and business development support; Oversee key partner and supplier accounts, including equipment/supply orders and VIK.
Event Management Promotion and communication of Events; Manage and execute event day operations; Support the planning efforts of the annual Ontario Soccer Summit; Assist in the planning and execution of the Centre Circle Awards; Help with other Ontario Soccer Competitions and Events, such as the Ontario Cup, Ontario Indoor Cup, Ontario Futsal Cup, Gary Miller Charity Shield, etc.; Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Evening and weekend on-site support at events, as needed.
Marketing and Branding Brand development and marketing of Ontario Soccer primary marks and sub-brands, in addition to ensuring a consistent brand look, feel and voice in all Ontario Soccer assets; Ideation and creation of marketing campaigns that support the various program areas and strategic direction of Ontario Soccer; Social media content support; Monitoring of brand protection across entire membership spectrum; General support as an “in-house agency marketer”; Survey design and analysis for marketing, event, and partnership evaluations.
Education and Professional Designations: University degree (or diploma), preferably in the field of Sport Management, Marketing and/or Business Administration.
Skills and Competencies At least two years working experience and/or demonstrated knowledge in the areas of marketing, events, promotions, branding, and/or partnership sales/servicing; Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Highly organized with great attention to details; Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple priorities and deadlines; Able to cultivate and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners; Effectively takes initiative, can work independently, and demonstrates an enthusiastic approach to work; Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) considered an asset; Sports/soccer experience (preferred).
