Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the 27th club in January 2019, and in June 2021, Austin FC began play in the new, 100% privately financed, $260 million, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium in Austin. Austin FC is seeking a driven and motivated Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination of marketing strategies including brand campaigns, consumer products campaigns and initiatives, grassroots initiatives, in-market events and fan base messaging. This role will support both brand marketing and fan development.  This unique role will work with a team to continue to develop an identify of a major league brand and is a once-in-a-lifetime and career-defining opportunity. The position is based in Austin, TX. Austin has continuously been selected by U.S. News and World Report as a top city to live in in the last six years, while Forbes placed it at the top of its “Cities of the Future” list.

You Will:·       Assist with consumer products marketing needs such as email and creative requests, influencer seeding programsand events at The Verde Store at Q2 Stadium and The Verde Store on Congress; and·       Assist with media invoicing and delivering creative assets to media partners; and·       Coordinate signage and other additional assets for both consumer products and brand marketing; and·       Work with external vendors (e.g., printers) to support brand initiative; and·       Assist with Austin FC in-market events (e.g., Official Austin FC watch parties) as a representative of the Marketing team; and·       Maintain the Austin FC archive, including brand and other Club elements (i.e., posters from matches, signed jerseys from special events); and·       Assist with in-match talent management. You Have:·       Strong organizational skills and ability to self-motivate ·       Ability to work with diverse teams ·       Ability to provide solutions in a fast-paced environment ·       1-3 years marketing or consumer products experience preferred·       English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus·       Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field Other Details:·       It is the policy of Austin FC not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. ·       All selected candidates are subject to passing a background check prior to employment.·       Hours are variable and can easily include early mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays in addition to the traditional Monday through Friday hours.
