Burton Albion has an exciting opportunity for a Conference & Events Supervisor to join our talented hospitality team providing various functions including match days and other special events including weddings, banquets and conferences.We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and the successful candidate will need to have high standards of customer service together with knowledge of large corporate and private functions, be a good leader and have sound knowledge of operational delivery and be able to maximise sales and the profitability of the hospitality department. We are looking to recruit someone who canmanage the performance together with motivating and leading the frontline team of hospitalityensuring high standards from booking through to overall management and delivery.
You will be required to demonstrate drive to ensure that all results are attained in a professional and efficient manner, together with enthusiasm, an eye for detail, a friendly approachable manner, and a hands on approach where you will be expected to not only supervise and organise, but also work alongside the existing team of staff, leading by example.
Previous experience within a hospitality environment is preferred, or if you have sound knowledge and an excellent understanding of customer values, and can demonstrate and strive to produce first class, high quality service throughout the business. You must have the ability to maintain exemplary standards of excellence encouraging and motivating others to follow suit and exceed expectations, always striving to deliver above and beyond the expectations of our customers.
