ROLE DESCRIPTION

Cheshire FA are looking for an efficient and effective administrative professional to provide day-to-day operational support within our Compliance Regulations Team. You must have a keen eye for detail, be able to manage a varied workload and provide a high level of customer service.
 
 
Job Title: Compliance Regulations Officer
Reports to: Compliance Regulations Manager
Location: Cheshire FA, Hartford House, Moss Farm Recreation Centrre, Northwich, CW8 4BG (Hybrid)
Closing Date: Monday 22nd January 2024
Contract Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: Circa £22,000-£23,000 (Dependent upon experience)
Working Hours: 35 Hours per week (including some evenings weekends)
 
ROLE PROFILE
 
PURPOSE
·       Provide key administrative support across a number of areas of the business including Club Affiliation, League Sanctioning and Online Player Registration.
·       Provide effective and efficient administrative support for Cheshire FA affiliated Clubs, Leagues and wider partners.
·       Provide Secretarial support at meetings and disciplinary hearings.
·       Support the Compliance Regulation Manager in processing Disciplinary Misconduct cases.
·       Support the wider team with administrative processes and functions to enhance business efficiency.
·       To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Provide customer excellence and query management in the timely response to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from CCFA stakeholders and customers.
·       To process discipline charges in accordance with FA regulations.
·       To co-ordinate and act as Secretary for personal and non-personal hearings.
·       Support Clubs through the Affiliation process.
·       Support Leagues through the League Sanctioning process.
·       Support wider partners through the administration of ad-hoc competitions and tournaments.
·       Provide the highest level of customer excellence to support volunteers across all FA Technology systems (Club/Competition Portal, Whole Game System, Matchday app and Full-Time).
·       Contribute to ensuring that safeguarding and equality are embedded throughout CCFA and grassroots football.
·       Execute tasks as required to meet CCFA changing priorities.

Qualifications




Essential
•    Educated to A Level or equivalent


Desirable
•    NVQ / Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration
•    2 years of administrative experience




Skills Abilities




Essential
•    Administrative skill from a professional / volunteer background
•    Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Ability to be pro-active, work independently and as part of a team.
•    Ability to work under pressure.
•    Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
•    Excellent problem solving and decision- making skills.
•    Outstanding communication and presentation skills.


Desirable
•    Grassroots football experience from a professional / volunteer capacity.
•    Front-facing customer service experience.
•    Experience of dealing with a variety of customer queries via email, telephone and face-to-face.




Knowledge Experience




Essential
•    Demonstrate a working knowledge of inclusion, equality, anti-discrimination and safeguarding.
•    Administrative experience from a professional / volunteer background


Desirable
•    Knowledge of grassroots football governance and regulation.
•    Knowledge and understanding of working with volunteers.
•    Knowledge of FA Technology Systems (Club/Competition Portal, WholeGame, Matchday, Full-Time).
