To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

Job responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Competition Manager in cooperation with other tournament Functional Areas and external stakeholders, the Competition Coordinator will support the successful operational planning and implementation of all aspects of the competition management project in New Zealand.
The Competition Coordinator will be part of a team within the Competitions sub-division and contribute to ensure that a high standard of Competition and Match Operations can be delivered by the Competition Management team at the tournament itself as well as any event related to the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ (e.g. Official Draw and Test event)

Job duties
The Competition Coordinator shall be based in the FWWC2023 Pty Ltd Headquarters in Auckland and under the supervision of the Competition Manager be responsible for:
Supporting the successful operational planning, coordination, and delivery of the competition management project for the FWWC2023
Implementing policies and procedures, training and administration requirements, and integration into stadium staffing teams in the lead-up to the FWWC2023
Participating in cross-functional interactions between FWWC2023 Functional Areas with regards to competition management and match operations responsibilities
Supporting the Competition Manager to ensure that all stadium competition areas comply with FIFA guidelines and requirements, including monitoring construction/refurbishment and preparing follow up documentation and finalisation of checklists
Participating in the planning and delivery of competition and stadium readiness exercises and training materials
Collaborating on all stadium and team equipment requirements (i.e., Team Materials, Field of Play Equipment, Training Site Equipment) and its subsequent procurement, delivery, placement and working confirmation.
Coordinate Competition Management operational meetings and other relevant activities for competition and match operation matters
Supporting the Competition Manager in attending the FIFA team inspection visits for FIFA Competition Management requirements
Conducting regular reporting and other duties as assigned by the Head of Competition and/or Competition Manager in close collaboration with the counterpart of Australia
