Stoke City Football Club Community Trust is offering a number of Traineeships to support the communities that we work with.
We are looking for young, dynamic people who are committed to develop their skills to be able to work in communities to include schools, youth organisations and many of the local priority populations. Projects include:
School sport programmes including Premier League Primary Stars
Boys and girls football based activities
Outreach work including Premier League Kicks
Disability and Inclusion programmes
Health and Wellbeing programmes
Education and Lifelong learning including Premier League Inspires
Sports related administration
We offer this programme through working in partnership with our education partner. The Traineeship programme aimed at 16-18 year olds follows a 12 week programme designed to develop the skills and confidence to work in a football/sports environment. The programme will involve gaining the necessary skills required to perform in a role associated with an apprenticeship or work based setting.
You will be representing a professional Football Club, which extends to make a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and adults in the City of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and South Cheshire area. For this purpose, we are currently looking to recruit Traineeships to provide opportunities to build confidence in developing their skills in a sports setting and customer-facing role.
The following is a brief overview of the programme.
Programme designed to develop the skills required to be an apprentice.
Gain free qualifications.
Develop work based learning experience in a real life environment.
Paid a monthly learning allowance.
Build confidence in communicating, administration and evaluating sessions.
Develop employability and functional skills that are relevant to the role.
