Role description

The Killie Community delivers programmes across Ayrshire, promoting active lifestyles and tackling health and social inequalities. We use football as a force for good to support all within our community, working with people of all ages, stages, backgrounds and circumstances. This role will have particular focus on developing our ASN Football, Youth Diversionary, Health Wellbeing, Employability and Football Memories programmes.
DUTIES:
To facilitate community activity across Ayrshire and develop a positive relationship with participants of our programmes.
To meet the wellbeing outcomes of participants by maintaining awareness of individuals’ circumstances and how this can influence engagement with programmes.
To provide leadership in the development of sessional staff and the recruitment and management of volunteers to deliver programmes.
To play a role in the development and growth of The Killie Community.
To attend training courses as directed by Community Programmes Manager.
To assist The Killie Community to produce impact reports on programmes and events, collating feedback, photos and videos.
To take all reasonable care and attention for the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself, other employees and participants of the local community involved in The Killie Community activities.
To uphold and enforce, at all times, the reputation and ethos of Kilmarnock Football Club and The Killie Community.
Help to increase Kilmarnock Football Club fan base and attendances through community engagement.
To carry out any other reasonable duties that may arise from time to time or be assigned by the Kilmarnock FC Managing Director.
