Position Overview

As a valuable member of the Toronto FC Community Coaches team, you will be responsible for instructing youth on-field through our community clinics and camps.

What you will be doing:
Planning and leading on-field training soccer sessions for 40 children of all ages and abilities at community events
Adhering to MLSE service standards and policies
Working in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
Other duties as required


You will be a phenomenal fit for this job if:
You have one of the following NCCP Courses completed:
Learn to Train; FUNdamentals and Fundamental Movement Skills
Any soccer specific certifications (Ontario Soccer, Canada Soccer, etc.) is an asset
You are available for 1-2 events per month and the TFC Summer Skills Camp from August 22-26, 2022 from 8:00am-5:00pm at Downsview Park + 1-2 training days prior to the start date
You are energetic, enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated, and professional
You are able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Background check, NCCP # and one (1) reference letter
You work well under pressure; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
You are an energy giver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Other things that can help are:
You have previous experience coaching or playing soccer
You have a background in Physical Education or Teaching
You have previous experience as a Camp Counsellor or Youth Leader
